Performing Arts in Education across the Disciplines explores methods, benefits, and analysis of incorporating the arts into education and across disciplined studies within the Touro University system. The course takes place during the fall semester, allowing students to gain an immersive experience in all aspects pertaining to the arts.

Students explore how to utilize the arts in their daily practice by learning differentiated subject matter through multi-modal mediums. Students have an in-depth investigation and hands-on exploration of visual arts, music, theater and performative arts, spoken word, drama and creative writing, song, kinesthetic learning, poetry, and craft and see them applied to different study areas benefitting intrinsic and extrinsic values.
Guest speakers, teachers, and artists are an integral part of this course and visit the classroom to share first-hand experiences with students and demonstrate how to overcome the separation of the arts and learn the integration of it as a result.
